- landmine: place strategically before the game begins to fuck up your opponent’s tactics and shake their confidence when their carefully calculated next move ends in explosive defeat
- wizard: curse your opponent’s pieces to suffer misfortune on the battlefield
- locust plague: destroy your opponent’s crops, disrupting their food supplies and shattering their morale as starvation threatens their forces
